FPL: FIX 5.0 Is Gaining Ground
According to FPL statistics, since October of last year, the Microsoft Word document containing FIX 5.0 specifications has been downloaded 59,212 times, while the Adobe Acrobat PDF of the standard has been downloaded 9,605 times. The latest iteration has proven to be more popular than the previous version, say FPL officials. In a four-year period, from 2003 and 2007, FIX 4.4 was downloaded 27,887 times, they say.
