NSX Suffers FIX Outage
One of the exchange's FIX servers went down at around 9:50 p.m. Eastern Time, according to James Kearney, senior vice president of business development for NSX. The issue resolved itself within minutes and the server went back online, Kearney says.
The server was down for a total of less than 10 minutes. The cause of the outage was not known at press time.
"These things happen every once in a while," Kearney says. "It came right back up and was running normally by the end of the day."
