OMX Seeks Suitors

Swedish exchange operator and technology provider OMX has reportedly appointed Credit Suisse as a financial advisor to explore options for a merger with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and others, according to press reports.

While OMX officials decline to comment on the situation, a spokesperson for the Stockholm-based vendor confirms that Credit Suisse is advising OMX.
