Chi-X Debuts Sponsored Access
The trading venue received regulatory approval from the U.K. Financial Services Authority (FSA) to offer its participants the option of providing their clients "sponsored access" with immediate effect early last week.
Users of the new service can now connect to the MTF's matching engine by proximity hosting their servers in Chi-X Europe's datacenters or via remote access, rather than connecting to a trading participant that has connected to Chi-X Europe.
