Icap Plans to Launch MTF
The firm applied to the U.K. Financial Services Authority (FSA) for exchange status last year. For the MTF, the firm plans to cover both voice and electronic execution, says Cathryn Lyall, COO for exchange projects at Icap. "We're aiming for quite a unique model," she adds.
Icap already has all the necessary infrastructure internally to build the MTF, according to officials. The plan is to work with "very innovative" products that are not currently listed in any other markets, adds Lyall.
