StanChart Deploys FX Aggregator
The bank began using the aggregator on Nov. 1, connecting to five ECNs via FIX application programming interfaces (APIs), according to bank officials, who decline to identify the specific markets. StanChart will eventually connect to seven venues, including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), says Todd McDonald, global head of FX electronic pricing and trading at the bank in Singapore.
