Knight Builds 'Virtual Exchange'

NEW YORK—Knight Capital Group is putting the finishing touches on what it calls its "virtual exchange."
Rather than a real exchange, Knight's chairman and CEO Thomas M. Joyce says the firm plans to use Knight's available broker-dealer liquidity to provide more offerings to its institutional clients.
