Colt to Link First Proximity Services Client
Colt will provide datacenter hosting services enabling the undisclosed large sell-side European institution to host its servers closer to the trading infrastructure and across different datacenters, and allowing the firm to build up split installations and backup locations, says a Colt spokesperson. The customer will be able to update its systems and trading strategies remotely from the customer's office, the vendor spokesperson adds.
