Fixnetix Readies US Low-Latency Play

The vendor is in the process of setting up points of presence in Equinix's Secaucus, NJ datacenter for access to New York-based markets, and to two Equinix datacenters in Chicago. The vendor has just ordered communications lines to create connectivity "rings" in each city, and plans to put the new PoPs into live production by the end of June, when it will also create a transatlantic link to its existing connectivity to equities and futures markets in Europe, officials say.
