The new content is being captured from a variety of sources, including Markit Boat and other, unspecified exchange-operated OTC trade reporting facilities, as well as a range of dark book matching services, such as Liquidnet.
The addition of data from trades executed away from displayed exchange and MTF order books will help to give FFI users a broader insight into where liquidity resides for a particular stock or stock index, officials say.
