Reuters Suffers HK Outage
A corrupted real-time database in Reuters' Hong Kong data center led to service disruptions for nearly 11 hours last Thursday between 2:49am and 1:30pm local time. Liquidity providers to Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing for structured products warned the exchange that their market making may have been affected by the problem, which disrupted services to Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, China and the Philippines. Reuters advised customers to switch to Reuters feeds
