Two Data Acquisitions Hit Australia

Progress has been made on separate acquisitions of two Australian-owned data companies.
Thomson Financial has announced that it has completed its purchase of the Georgeson range of investor relations analytic products and services from Australian technology and share registry provider Computershare (IMD, June 5).
The Georgeson range, which includes the Citywatch, IRtrack and StreetSight holdings products, will largely be integrated into Thomson's Corporate Advisory, Investment Banking and
