The Administrative Burden Grows

Users, exchanges and vendors discussed how to reduce the burden of administration at the Financial Information Services Division meeting in Amsterdam earlier this month.

Speakers in a session on exchange administration agreed that vendors and users are spending a lot of time on paperwork and dealing with the various contractual policies imposed by different exchanges. This is leading some to advocate uniformity in contract terms.
