Tick Data Makes Filtering, Mapping Tools Available

Nexa Technologies' Tick Data division is introducing new filtering and mapping tools that work with its recently launched low-latency datafeed (IMD, April 3).
The first, TickFilter, uses proprietary algorithms to automatically filter out erroneous quote and trade price ticks that fall outside the normal range of trading and might distort any programs that use the prices, says Neal Falkenberry, senior vice president of the Tick Data division.
