American Stock Exchange Distributes European Index Data
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
The American Stock Exchange last week began distributing real-time values of six European stock indexes. The exchange hopes availability of the data will encourage trading in warrants on the indexes.
Values of the six indexes are being distributed via Network B of the Consolidated Tape Authority (CTA). The indexes are available in real time during the European trading day, which overlaps with the New York morning trading session. After Europe's close, the index's closing values will be posted.
