Thomson Wins Customers in China

Thomson Financial has signed six fund management companies in mainland China as customers for the Chinese-language version of Thomson One Analytics, which it launched in June (IMD, May 26), says Fran Thompson, Thomson’s product director for Asia.

Thompson, who declines to identify these new customers, expects to sign another 10 or 15 customers by the end of 2003. She says these firms were "specifically targeted as high-end institutions," but getting to the "next level down" will provide numerous
