DBC Inks Two Deals: With I-Way Vendor IFN, And Microsoft

Data Broadcasting Corp. (DBC) has signed a letter of intent with Internet Financial Network Inc. that includes an option to acquire the company within the year. DBC also will make an investment of less than $1 million in IFN. Separately, in a move that surprised market data vendor and Microsoft Network content provider PC Quote Inc., Microsoft Corp. selected DBC to provide delayed stock quotes to Microsoft's site on the World Wide Web.
