JP Morgan Analyzes with Kx Systems

Investment bank JP Morgan has selected Kx Systems’ Kdb/tick database to be used by its global equities traders for time-series data analysis.

Kdb/tick is made up of database technology and software that captures trade and quote data from multiple sources--in JPMorgan’s case, numerous equity feeds from vendors and exchanges--and provides traders with a platform to perform real-time analysis on tick data. The traders can build their own analytics on the platform using Kx Systems’ proprietary
