Data a Key Worry for Direct Market Access

The key challenges in implementing direct market access (DMA) trading systems involve market data-related issues, according to a survey of those attending an event hosted by network provider Radianz last week.

Thirty-five percent of attendees said that the connectivity challenge with the biggest impact on DMA is reducing latency. Another 23 percent said that accessing market data is the main source of bottlenecks, while a further 56 percent blamed a combination of this and sending and receiving
