NYSE, AMEX Ask SEC To Approve Data Fee Hikes

The New York and American stock exchanges have asked the Securities and Exchange Commission to approve a rate increase for data distributed by the Consolidated Tape Association (CTA) and the Consolidated Quote Plan (CQP). If approved, the planned exchange fee increases would be the first since 1984. Network A fees would increase by six percent, while one dollar per device would be added to Network B fees.
The stock exchanges' requests follow a similar move by the Options Price Reporting
