RIXML.org Turns to Implementation

DELIVERY TECHNOLOGIES

The RIXML.org committee has shifted its focus from development to promotion of the XML protocol for tagging investment research after releasing RIXML 2.0 last July. The committee has formed two new working groups, and representatives say firms and vendors are slowly adopting the protocol.

The implementation group, which is headed by John Mahoney of Multex, is focused on giving RIXML.org members a forum for discussing issues they’ve encountered with the protocol, says Andrew Ling of UBS Warburg
