Reuters Services In N. America Hit By Power Outage

Reuters Holdings PLC's North American data services were disrupted for more than seven hours early Monday Feb. 5 following an hour-long power outage at Long Island Lighting Co., which supplies Reuters' Hauppauge, Long Island-based technical center. Subscribers worldwide were unable to receive market data on North American exchange-listed securities, and only delayed foreign exchange rates were available to North American users.
