held an Internet conference in San Francisco last week, featuring key speakers such as Mike Bloomberg (of course), Jerry Yang, co-founder and chief of Yahoo!, and Alfred Berkeley, president of The Nasdaq Stock Market. The conference, which was carried live on Bloomberg's Web-site, focussed on the state of the Internet industry and what the future holds. Among the news resulting from the conference was Berkeley's announcement of plans to expand Nasdaq's Web-site service into Germany
