signed a deal with US brokerage firm First Montauk Securities for 300 Quotron financial workstations. The arrangement is one of Reuters' largest Unix-based Quotron installations this year. Quotron equities information services will be distributed via a proprietary, Unix-based wide area communications system called Montauk Navigator. The system is designed to serve over 390 brokers in 29 states. First Montauk will install 100 Quotron workstations in 1996, 200 more the followingOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
