Glocer Ranks Priorities as CEO-Designate at Reuters

NEW YORK: Inside Market Data caught up with Reuters' Tom Glocer shortly after he was named as the new CEO effective July 2001, when Peter Job retires (IMD, Dec. 11). Glocer will be the first American to head Reuters. He currently is the CEO of Reuters Information. He started with Reuters in 1993 as an attorney and has been on a fast track ever since. He is 41 and figures to be around for a long time.
