Securities exchanges are hopping on the Internet bandwagon. A number of exchanges -- particularly futures and options exchanges -- have set up home pages on the World Wide Web. Most recently, the Chicago Board of Trade has launched a commercial site selling its own data, as well as data from futures exchanges around the world.
The exchanges are using the Web to educate investors about their businesses. Their sites typically display delayed prices, information about their history, how they work
