JP Morgan Builds Data Distribution Platform

NEW YORK--JP Morgan Chase is building a global, thin client platform that incorporates elements of both Tibco's TIB and Reuters Triarch market data distribution systems.

The platform is component-based and offers a variety of services, including real-time pricing, internal applications and internal research sites. It is being globally deployed, managed and updated, providing the bank with "simplicity in managing its systems," says Ivano Togni, managing director responsible for trading technology
