Mayland-based Disclosure Inc., a subsidiary of VNU Business Information Services, has bought Bechtel Information Services, thus reacquiring the contract to distribute microfiche and paper copies of Securities and Exchange Commision filings The purchase also gives Disclosure a role in the much-delayed EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval) system that the SEC and other major securities regulatory bodies are constructing.
