Dow Jones To Speed Up To 9.6 Kilobit/ Second Delivery Of Broadtape
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
Dow Jones & Co. is increasing the line speed for delivery of its Broadtape news service to 9.6 kilobits/second from the current 300 bits/second. Scheduled for early 1992, the move will replace the Broadtape's scrolling news with scrolling headlines, and allow Dow Jones to boost news coverage on the Dow Jones News Service products.
