Standard & Poor's
has acquired Thesys Information, a data provider of life and non-life insurance companies in the UK and Continental Europe. Standard & Poor's will incorporate Thesys products--Synthesys Life and Synthesis Non-life, which provide information on 644 UK insurers, Eurothesis, which provides data on 1,350 companies, and Synthesis Proforma--into its ratings services shortly. The existing production, marketing and IT functions for Thesys' products will be supported by the InsuranceOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
