NEW YORK--The development of a third protocol for publishing investment research through using Extensible Markup Language (XML) is gathering momentum, with the appointment of a contractor to produce a document type definition (DTD) expected shortly.
The steering committee of the Research Investment Exchange Markup Language consortium is in the process of selecting a technology partner for the actual development and production of a prototype DTD for RIXML. Negotiations are currently in progress
