Star Data To Purchase Fund Software Vendor Baycom For C$17.7M

Canadian quote vendor Star Data Systems Inc. has signed a letter of intent to acquire Baycom Inc., a Toronto-based supplier of integrated support services for the Canadian investment industry for Canadian $17.7 million in stock and cash. Officials from both companies say that the acquisition will be finalized by the middle of November.
