NEW YORK--With the millennium only 700 days away and the euro conversion even closer, it's no surprise that the theme for this week's SIA Information Management show is "Technology--the Driver of Change." And it's no surprise that the Internet and related technologies figure highly in both the conference and the exhibit.

But never fear--the 1998 SIA show will also feature its ubiquitous PR, predictions, panels and pedants. With drinks, of course, thrown in for good measure.
