TCB Data Systems Now Testing VRXML Interface

ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT

TCB Data Systems, a New York-based vendor that handles data usage reporting to exchanges, should be ready to send data in VRXML to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) by the summer, says Thomas Butts, president of the company. The vendor has been testing VRXML with the exchange since April.

VRXML is designed for reporting monthly data usage to direct billing exchanges. So far, only the NYSE, which developed the protocol last year (IMD, July 22, 2002), accepts VRXML-tagged reports.
