Earnings Calls Offer More Mixed Results

The earnings season continued last week with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), D&B, Edgar Online and GL Trade all reporting fourth-quarter results.
CME reported that its quotation data fees increased from $12.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2002 to $14.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2003. For 2003 quotation data fees jumped nine percent to $53.2 million from $48.7 million in 2002. The increase is primarily attributed to a pricing change in April 2003, said the CME in the earnings call
