Chicago Merc Completes Study Of Data Security, Pricing And Dissemination

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) is weighing the results of a study it commissioned to examine issues concerning the pricing and distribution of its market data, including the cost- effectiveness of data security measures.
To conduct the study, the CME retained Tellefsen Consulting Group Inc., a New York-based market data and trading-room system consultancy whose work has focused primarily on exchanges in recent years.
