Iris to Introduce Component Services Architecture

LONDON--Iris Financial has created a new Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application development environment for its trading customers.
Kevin Galliers, vice president of worldwide distribution at Iris, says the vendor has commenced building J2EE-based trading systems with its "component services architecture" (CSA) for its customers, which include about 75 percent of the largest 20 worldwide banks. He declines to name the firms. Those systems are in beta testing now and should be unveiled and
