Word On Globex Due This Week; "Stand By" For D2000-2 Launch

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the Chicago Board of Trade and Reuters Holdings PLC plan to announce a launch date for their planned Globex futures trading system this week; a July 1 startup is reportedly under consideration.

Meanwhile, the launch of Reuters' Dealing 2000-2 foreign exchange order-matching system "is upon us, stand by," says Michael Reilly, senior vice president of external relations at Reuters' U.S. subsidiary.
