Nikko N.Y. Taps Davidge, Sun For Equities Trading Systems

Nikko Securities Co. is tooling a Sun Microsystems Inc. SPARCstation-based ticker plant to fuel a data distribution, display and position-keeping system for its equities traders in New York. Much of the development is being handled for Nikko by Davidge Data Systems Inc., which began work on the project some 18 months ago, sources say.
