Omgeo Pursuing FIX, OMS Allies
OPERATIONS AND STP
BOSTON--Omgeo, the trade management services union between Thomson Financial and the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. (DTCC), is planning to pursue alliances with order management system (OMS) providers and FIX network companies to offer Deal Time STP, an effort to move trade allocations up earlier in the trade cycle, officials said last week.
The solution suite is intended to allow firms to process trades using a single connection and common industry standards--particularly FIX--enabling
