Telerate Clarifies WAN Distribution Ban, As Policy-Setting Board To Meet Again

More has emerged on Dow Jones Telerate's policy barring customers from distributing the vendor's data from one site to another using their own wide area networks. The vendor's prohibition extends to customers redistributing Telerate data for backup purposes. Telerate's policy also precludes pricing dealing positions with Telerate data and passing that information from one site to another.
