Hovland Developing New Package For Pricing, Trade Capture, Position Keeping

LONDON--Hal Hovland's development company, the London-based 9000, is currently building a new trading system based on Inter net and Microsoft technologies.

Named after a character in Greek mythology, Damocles is a trading system and middle office component library that will be marketed by the London-based Financial Objects. The product name is also a partial acronym for Dealer and Middle Office Component Library, Hovland says.

Closely aligned with 9000, Financial Objects was founded by Roger
