Market Vision Corp. is in the early stages of talks with San Francisco-based consulting firm Imis Inc. concerning Imis' newly released so-called RFP Database system. The system is designed to simplify the evaluation and procurement process for firms and banks looking to purchase financial software. Though the system is customizable, RFP Database currently accommodates brokerage firms looking to buy back-office systems.
