Thomson ESG Adds Mankin, Boulderstone As SIA Lends Support For Settlement Initiative

Having secured what it perceives as a green light to compete in the US electronic trade settlement market, Thomson Financial Services' Electronic Settlement Group has created two senior management positions and filled them with heavyweights Robert Mankin and Richard Boulder stone.

The appointments come on the heels of an initiative by Thomson ESG and the Securities Industry Association to open US electronic trade settlement to competition. The market is currently dominated by the Depository Trust
