ABN Amro Takes RMDS on Linux
TRADING FLOOR TECHNOLOGIES
NEW YORK--ABN Amro has taken delivery of the Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) on the Linux operating system, TTW has confirmed with three industry sources.
The Amsterdam-headquartered bank has put RMDS on trading floors in New York and London, and "some parts of continental Europe," says a source familiar with the situation. ABN Amro and Reuters officials decline comment.
Reuters officials have previously stated that there are six "very large" customers "across the globe" beta-testing RMDS on
