Jefferies Adds Morning Cross, Single-Stock Cross To Posit
THIS WEEK'S LEAD STORIES
Jefferies & Co., in cooperation with West Coast partner Barra & Co. has added a mid-morning cross and a single-stock cross facility to its Portfolio System for Institutional Trading (POSIT) crossing network. The firm is also considering adding a further pre-morning cross whose executions would be priced according to a weighted average of New York Stock Exchange closing prices in the evening of the same day.
The moves are intended to stand POSIT in good stead as rival Reuters Holdings PLC's
