FIX Committee Puts Out RFP For RFP On Road To A Certification Vendor

NEW YORK--Seven firms, most of them consultants, are currently working up responses to the FIX committee's RFP to develop and write a full-fledged proposal to manage and maintain certification of the FIX protocol. The move is the committee's first step toward outsourcing one of its most important protocol programs, members contacted say.
Responses to the initial RFP are due back at the end of April and the committee expects to make a decision by mid-May, members say. Once the RFP vendor is
