PC Crashes In Melbourne Lead CBA To Reassess Deployment Of ADS System

Commonwealth Bank of Australia's plans to deploy California-based ADS Associates' Global Trader deal capture and risk management system have been delayed due to unforeseen technical difficulties, according to internal CBA documents obtained by D&IS. Specifically, during the Global Trader's initial pilot test in Melbourne on a networked, Windows 3.1-based systems platform, client-side desktop PCs began crashing.
