Bankers Trust's Magellan Project Brings Data Platform To 450 Bankers

Bankers Trust Co. has begun testing a data distribution platform for use by some 450 investment bankers, also known as merchant bankers. Breaking with a long history of DEC-based information management systems, Bankers Trust is tapping IBM to provide PS/2 client and server hardware for the project, which it calls Magellan.
