Salomon Finally Replaces Kurobe, Bloom: Firm Names Insider Miglis Global Tech Head

Salomon Brothers named Thomas Miglis as its new head of global technology early last week, filling a spot that has been vacant for nearly half a year. In February, Salomon abruptly removed Mitsuo Kurobe from the job after only a five-month stint and sent him back to the firm's Tokyo office to workin arbitrage trading(TST, Feb. 19).
